Creeper Double Feature

Night of the Living Dead - the classic b horror movie. This film is rather short, predictable, and a classic. The movie begins with siblings, a brother and sister, visiting their parent's grave. Once the flowers are put on the grave things begin to deteriorate rapidly. A zombie appears and the movie progresses down hill from there.

The movie focuses on the sister, a black man, a young couple and an older couple with their child all stuck in a farm house that is attached to gas pumps. The movie takes place during the course of one 24 hour period. The black man takes charge as the house is assaulted by the undead.

This movie was not particularly scary. However, the background concerning the making of this film is fun to know. This is a low low low budget film. The producer, his family, and his receptionist all have roles in this film. That being said this movie is worth a watch some Halloween night.

Psycho - a young woman embezzles money and decides to assist her boyfriend who is in debt. They live a state apart and her drive to him is cut short due to rain. She stops at the Bates Motel meeting Norman a young man living isolated with only his mother as his companion.

This is an excellent film. Hitchcock knows what he is doing. I had seen parts of this film prior to watching the entire film. It was worth the wait! This is a great film. I will have to watch it again. Although I will say that I watched this with my sister and caught a couple of things in it that she did not. I also went onto the Internet Movie Database and found out all kinds of fun trivia - like this film was based on a book! Everyone should watch this one.
