A mini review instead of work:
Drag Me to Hell: silly film. A young woman who works at a bank is vying for a position. She is a conscientious worker. An old woman comes in begging for an extension on her mortgage payment. She literally begs. The young woman solicits her manager for advice who tells her to make the call. In order to be in line for the promotion, she determines that she should deny the third request.
Then all hell breaks loose because the old woman curses her. Duh dun DUH! Oh, the mess of guts and oral fixation that followed made it a rather muddied and predictable film. Too much CGI and not enough actual plot.
Entertaining maybe if a little drunk and thinking this is a campy film. Not so entertaining if stone cold sober and expecting to be scared. Catch this one on the telly if you must.
